The B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) for Agniveers retirees, is designed to develop engineering graduates with a strong foundation in computer science, computational thinking, and emerging artificial intelligence technologies. The programme integrates theoretical knowledge with practical learning, enabling students to design, develop, and implement intelligent computing solutions for real-world applications.

The curriculum builds essential competencies in programming, mathematics, data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, database management, and software engineering. Students are progressively introduced to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python programming, data analytics, intelligent algorithms, and computational problem-solving, developing the skills required to understand and apply modern AI technologies.

Emphasis is placed on hands-on laboratory learning, application development, innovation, and project-based problem-solving, enabling students to translate academic concepts into practical technological solutions.

The programme also incorporates professional communication, ethical computing practices, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary learning to prepare graduates for careers in AI engineering, software development, data science, intelligent systems, and technology-driven research and innovation.

Industry Skill Development & Placement Assistance

From the fourth through sixth semesters, students shall undertake integrated, industry-oriented skill development courses designed to enhance their technical competencies, practical expertise, and professional employability. Agnimitra Welfare Foundation (AWF), in collaboration with its industry and institutional partners, shall provide placement assistance and career guidance alongside these skill development initiatives.

Programme Fee

The total programme fee for the four-year B.Tech. degree is ₹2,40,000, equivalent to ₹60,000 per annum. This comprehensive fee covers academic tuition, campus immersion activities, and integrated industry skill development courses, providing students with a structured and affordable pathway to engineering education and professional development.

Designed in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the programme offers a flexible learning framework that enables students to pursue a degree awarded by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), a State Government Technical University, while continuing their professional employment, subject to applicable academic requirements.
